Arcadia City Council Chambers Conference Room _______ ROLL CALL: Kruckeberg, Penman, Parrille 1.PUBLIC HEARING The applicant is requesting the following modification to the MC 08-15 side yard setbacks. 348 Oxford Drive Lou & Linda Mucci A modification to allow a 16’-6” street side yard setback in lieu of 20’ required to legalize a non-permitted conversion of Approved, 3-0a portion of the garage into a bedroom. Note: This request has been approved by the ARB of the Rancho Santa Anita Residents Association. 2.PUBLIC HEARING A modification for an 8’ driveway in lieu of 9’required, and MC 08-21 and SFADR 08-29 design review of a 436 square-foot, one-story addition to the 160 E. Longden Avenue rear of the residence. Kari Helman, architect for Rafael Velaquez Approved, 3-0 3. PUBLIC HEARING 1. A modification and Architectural Design Review for a 6’- MC 08-16 and SFADR 08-12 6” southerly side yard setback in lieu of 10’-0” required for 1530 Rodeo Road a 1,200 square-foot addition. Ho Po Wen 2. Architectural Design Review for a new front porch. Approved, 3-0, subject to the following conditions: 1. The installation of mechanical or plumbing equipment within the southerly side setback shall be prohibited; and 2. The existing “guest house” shall be inspected and, if necessary, remodeled to comply with the regulations for a guest house or a non-livable accessory building. There is a five working day appeal period. Appeals are to be filed by 5:30 p.m. on July 15, 2008. Any writings or documents provided to a majority of the Modification Committee members regarding any item on this agenda will be made available for public inspection in the Planning Services office at City Hall, 240 W.
