HEARING MC 08-39 1470 Caballero Rd. Kathleen Holmes (architect) Continued to 10-28-08 The applicant is requesting the following Modifications and an Oak Tree Encroachment Permit: 1.
A 2’-0” separation between a proposed 324 square-foot porte cochere and a proposed 484 square-foot detached garage in lieu of the minimum 10’-0” separation required between structures;
2. A 7’-2” southerly side yard setback in lieu of the minimum 17’-6” required for the proposed detached garage; 3. A 10’-0” street side yard setback (off of Orange Grove Ave.) in lieu
of the minimum 20’-0” required for the relocation of pool equipment; and 4. Encroachment by the proposed porte cochere upon a mature Canyon Live Oak tree. NOTE: This proposal has been
reviewed and approved by the Santa Anita Oaks Architectural Review Board. 2. PUBLIC HEARING MC 08-41 150 E. Grandview Ave. Aaron and Stephanie Buttaccio (property owners) Approved 3-0,
subject to the condition that additional front yard landscaping be provided to the satisfaction of Planning Services. The applicants are requesting the following Modifications for a
new circular driveway: 1. A 17’-0” distance between the front property line and the furthest point of the inside of the circular driveway in lieu of the minimum 25’-0” required; and
2. Hardscape totaling 45% of the required front yard in lieu of the maximum permitted hardscape of 40%. 3. PUBLIC HEARING MC 08-43 9826 E. Naomi Ave. Brad Secreto (property owner) Approved,
