HomeMy WebLinkAbout1145 ORDINANCE Nq. 1145' AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTIONS 3130.1 AND 3130.2 OF THE ARCADIA MUNICIPAL CODE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: 'SECTION I. That Sections 3130.1 and 3130.2 of the Arcadia Municipal Code be amended to read respectively as follows: 3130.1 SAME. PROHIBITED AREAS. No person shall use or discharge any type of fireworks north of Elkins Avenue or north of Foothill Boulevard east of the westerly bank of the Santa Anita Wash, nor within any area which in accordance with Section 3140 has been declared by the Fire Chief as a hazardous fire area and so posted. 3130.2. SAME. PERMITTED AREAS. Except as otherwise provided in Section 3130, the public may, with the consent of the owner or occupant thereof, on private property improved with a dwelling and inhabited by human beings, use and discharge such fireworks as are permitted by the laws of the State on the 4th of July of each ~rear and upon the 5th of July of each year in which the 4th day of July falls on Sunday. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia held on the 17th day of October , 1961, by the affirmative' vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit: -l- 1145 AYES: Councilmen Butterworth, Camphouse, Phillips, Reibold and Balser NOES: None ABSENT: None ~);~ .
