ORDINANCE NO. 1029
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING CERTAIN PROPERTY ON
LOUISE AND LEROY AVENUES IN ZONE D
(ARCHITECTURAL OVERLAY) IN ADDITION
TO THE BASIC R-l ZONING APPLICABLE
THERETO.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That after proceedings duly instituted and
public hearings duly held by and before the City Planning Commission
and the City Council, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council hereby determines that the property hereinafter described
should be reclassified as hereinafter provided.

SECTION 2. That, in accordance with the recommendations
of the City Planning Commission contained in its Resolution No. 304,
the following described property in the City of Arcadia, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, to wit:
Those portions of Lots 6, 9 and 14, Arcadia
Acreage Tract, as shown on map recorded in
Book 10, page 18, of Maps, records of Los
Angeles County, described as follows:
All of Lot 6, except the west 253.94 feet
of the east 283.94 feet; the 'south 180 feet
of the west 261.84 feet; and the north 282.50
feet of the west 289.90 feet thereof,
All of Lot 9, except the west 280.92 feet of
the east 310.92 feet; and the west 260.92
feet thereof,
The east 398.84 feet of the west 574.84 feet.
of the north 100 feet of Lot 14,
abutting Louise and LeRoy Avenues should be and the same is hereby
established as a district in Zone D (Architectural Overlay), in
addition to the basic R-l zoning applicable to the property, and
from and after the effective date of this Ordinance said real prop-
erty shall be established as a district in Zone D (Architectural
Overlay) under the provisions of Ordinance No. 760 of said City,

as amended, and said Ordinance No. 760 and the map contained therein
are hereby amended to reclassify and.designate the above described
property as a district in ZoneD (Architectural Overlay) in addi-
tion to the basic zoning of R-I applicable to said property; that
said reclassification is subject to and contingent upon compliance
with each architectural regulation imposed concurrently herewith by
resolution.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days

from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be published once
inthe Arcadia Tribune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of general cir-
culation published and circulated in the City of Arcadia.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia,
held on the 7th day of OCtober , 1958, by the affirmative
vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Jacobi, Camphouse, Balser, Re1bold
and Phillips
