RUBBISH AND OTHER WASTE MATTER FROM LOTS OR THE SIDEWALK IN FRONT THEREOF. 2 3 4 THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO ORDAIN AS 'OLLOWS: SI:CTION 1: That lt shall be the duty of the owner. agent or person ln oontrol of any lot, plsoe or paroel of land ln the Clty of Aroadla t,o remove therefrom and from the sldewa1k ln front there.. ~., I I (..' SECTION 2: If suoh owner, agent or person in control of suoh property shall fail to remove suoh materials from sald property on or b~. the firat day of August, 1922 and on or before the 15th day of June of eaoh and every year thereafter in ~ooordanoe wlth the provlslons of the preoedlng Seotlon, it shall be the duty of the Superintendent of Streets of. said Cityo! Aroadla to remove sald materials therefron; in whioh case said Superintendent of Streets shall make o~t a verlfled statement of the expense incurred by him fo~ making such removal and plaoe the same on file with the City Clerk on or before the 10th. day of AUgust, 1922 and on or before ) the first da:, of July of each and every year thereafter. Sald, state ment shall show the nUDIDer of the Lot and Block; also the name of the Traot or Subdivlslon ln whioh the Lot 11es ordescrlbe the Lot in any other way ,by whioh lt may be easily identifled; provlded one or more Lots may be set forth in one and the same etatement. If no 13 oorreot10ns or modifioations are made, sald Weed Tax shall be deeme oonfirmed and the Board's decision conolusive, and tbe same shall thereupon beoome a lien against the property involved unt11 paid. Sl!:CTION 6: It shall be lawful for any owner, agent or per son in possession of the'prem1ses upon wh1ch any work has been per- formed under tbe provis10ns of this Ordinanoe, to pay the oost ther of to said Street Superintendent on or before the first day of J~lY, In the event that it is necessary for the Street Superintendent to Jpr.ify the amount of the oost of the work to sald City Clerk as provided herein, he shall include in the oost thereof as a part of same, a penalty of twenty-five per cent to cover the incidental ex- pense of colleotion.
