'~ / j 10 AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AR- CADIA ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN ALLEY IN BLOCK 79 OF THE ARCADIA SANTA ANITA TRACT, IN SAID CITY OF ARCADIA. THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: S~CTION 1: That the public interest and convenience r~ quirs and that the Board of Trustees of the City of Arcadia do hete by order the following improvement to be made, to-wit: That that certain portion of the twenty (20) foot alley in Block 76, of the ARCADIA SANTA ANITA TRACT, in the City of Ar- . cadia, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per Map record d in Book 15, Pages 89 and 90, Miscellaneous Records of said County, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the South line of Lot 26 of said Block and Tract, said point being 20 feet Easterly from the South- west corner of said Lot 26; thencs Easterly along the Southerly line of Lots 25, 24, 23, 22, 21 and 18, all in the above-described Block and Tract, to the Southsast corner of Lot 18 in said Block and Tract; thence Southerly in a straight line to the Northeast corner of Lot 17 in said Block and Tract; thence Westerly along the Northerly line of Lots 17, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 and 9, all in said Block and Tract; to a point on the North line of Lot 9, in said Block and Tract; said point being 20 feet East of the Northwest corner of said Lot 9; thence North,erly in a straight line to the point of beginning, be vacated and abandoned for street purposes as contemplated by Resolu- tion No. 73 of said City of Arcadia, adopted and approved January 3, 1923. SECTION 2: That sa.id work is for the closing up, vaca.- tion and abandonment of that certain portion of said Allsy particu- larly described in Section 1 hereof and it appears to said Board of Trustees that there are no damages, costs or expenses arising out of said work and that no assessment is necessary for said work and therefore no Commissioners are appointed to assess benefits or damag s JVo /I{.,. -1- ()~~.#<1. BECTION 3: The City Clerk shall oertify to the adoption Ordinanoe and shall cause the same to be published onoe in 5 The Aroadia Journal, a weekly newspaper published and oirculated in said City of Aroadia and thirty days from and after the final pas- sage thereof, the same shall take effeot and be in foroe.
