WH~~EAS, said Ordinance was approved by the President Pro
Tem. of the l30ard of Trustees of said City of Arcadia and attest'ed
by the City Clerk of said City of Arcadia on said 16th. day of
July, 1924, and said Ordinance was thereafter duly published in
The Arcadia Journal, a weekly newspaper published and circulated
in said Cit), of Arcadia, once a week for two successive weeks prior
to the date of said Special Uunicipal Election, and
UH~iEAS, said Special Uunicipal Election nas held on the
said l2th. day of August, 1924, as provided by said Ordinance cell-
ing the samEl and by law for holding llunicipal Elections in said
City and sald proposition of incurring the bonded indebtedness
hereinbeforEI mentioned, received more than two-thirds of the votes
of the quaJ.1,fied voters voting at such Special Municipal Election,
and
WHEREAS, all: and singular the provisions of an Act of the I
Legislature of the State of California, entitled, PAn Act Authoriz-
ing the Incurring of Indebtedness by Cities, Towns and Municipal
Corporations for Municipal Improvements and Regulating the Acqu1- I
sition, Construction or Cocpletion Thereofu, which became a law I
February 25, 1901, and all Acte amendatory thereof and supplementa~

thereto, and the laws of the State of California, governing Cities I

It is further cer~ified th~all requirements of the Oon-
stitution and Laws of the State of Oalifornia and all Ordinances
of said Oity of Arcadia have been fully complied ~ith by the proper
officers in the issuing of this Bond; that this issue of bonds has
been authodzad by the vote of two-thirds of the duly qualified
electors of said City voting at the Special Election duly and reg-
ularly call1ld and held in said Oity on the 12th. day ~ August,
1924, at which the proposi tion of authorizing this issue of bonds
was submitted and that the total amount of 'this issue, together
uith all otller indebtedness of said City, does not exceed the limi
prescribed by the Constitution and Laws of the State of California;
that provision has been made for the collection of an annual tax
suffioient to pay the annual interest on this issue bf bonds, and
also such plLrt of the principal thereof as shall become due before
the time fo~ fixing the next general tax levy.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I the Oi ty of Arcadia has caused this

said City of Arcadia set apart for that purpose to meet all sums
coming due :for principal and interest on such bonds, a tax suf-
ficient to pay the annual interest on such bonds and also such part
of the princ)ipal thereof as shall become due before the time for
fixing the next general tax levy.

be in addi ti.on to all other taxes levied for municipal purposes,
