" . > Z 0 ; ~ 16 z ~ z ~ :J 0( 0(:E C 2 17 . . . . 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 SO Sl S2 ORDINANCE NO. 148. 1 !f~ (4 g< Ali: ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE G ITY OF AR- CADIA DEXlLAli.ING THAT THAT CmTAIN PORTION OF SECOND AVENUE BETWEEN 2 WALNUT STREET AND AZUSA ROAD AND ALSO THAT CERTAIN PORTION OF SIXTH AVENUE BET\7E:EN WALNUT STREET AND AZUSA ROAD TO BE OPEN PUBLIC BOUL- S EVARDS AND PROHIBITItIG HEAVY TRAFFIC THERTI:ON. 4 TEE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: 15 8 SECTION 1: That that certain portion of Seoond Avenue between Walnut Street and Azusa Road and also that certain portion of Sixth Avenue between Walnut street and Azusa Road, be and the, same are here})y declared to be and are hereby dedicated as open Public Boulevards, along and upon whi~hit shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to drive, or oause to be driven any truck, wagon, 011 wagon, tank wagon, cart or other vehicle em- ployed in oa.rrying rook, sand, earth, gravel, 011, coal, wood, manure, lumber, brick or other building materials, provided how- ever, that this Ordinance shall not apply to the use of either of ~d BOuleva,rds between the points thereon, hereinabove speoified, for a distance less than one block, by vehicles carrying such rock, sand, earth, gravsl, oil, coal, wood, manure, lUmber, brick or other bu11d1.ng materials to or from the premises fronting on said Seoond AventlEl or on said Sixth Avenue,' from or to the nearest in- terseoting Street or Avenue between said designated points. al~TION 2: That any person, firm or corporation violat- ing any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemElanor and upon conviotion thereof, shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $300.00 or })y imprisonment in the City Jai of said City of Aroadla for a period not exceeding three months. or by both ouch fine and imprieonment.
