ORDINANCE NO. 30.
AN ORDINANCE TO ProVIDE FOR THE REGULATION OF POOL AND BILLIARD
ROOMS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA.
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AHCADIA, DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, corporation,
firm, '::Ompany, association or club, as principal, agent, employee or other-
wise, within the corporate limits of the City of Arcadia to conduct the
business of public pool room or billiard room in any room, place or
building within said corporate limits.
Seotion 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this
Act shall be deemed guilty of a.misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof
shall be punished by a fine not exceeding Six Hundred ($600.00) Dollars,
or by imprisonment in the County Jail not exceeding six mont~or by both
such fine and imprisonment.
This ordinance shall take effect from and after midnight April,
30th. 1912.
The above ordinance was passed by the affirmative vote of at
least three trustees.

The foregoing ordinance No. 30. was adopted by the Board of
Trustees of the City of Arcadia at a regular adjourned meeting of said
Board held on the 29th. day of April, 1912, by the affirmative vote of
at least three Trustees, to-wit: Ayes, Messrs. Unruh, Parker and Barnes.
Noes, Messrs. Stocker and Bowman.
