ORDINANCE NO. 1792
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA CORRECTING THE
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN LAND USE MAP FOR CERTAIN PARCELS
EAST AND WEST OF FIRST AVENUE, SOUTH OF HUNTINGTON
DRIVE AND NORTH OF ALTA, FROM RESIDENTIAL HIGH DENSITY
(RHD) TO COMMERCIAL GENERAL (CG)
WHEREAS, California Redevelopment Law, Health and Safety Code Section
33331, requires that every redevelopment plan shall conform to the General Plan
of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Arcadia Redevelopment Plan as amended on May 19, 1983 desig-
nates the properties commonly referred to as 30 South First Avenue and 21-35 South
First Avenue (as shown on Attachment "A" hereto) as Residential High Density (RHD);
and
WHEREAS, this error appears to have been made inadvertently during the
Plan adoption process, and was not the intent of the Agency or City Council; and
WHEREAS, the property owners affected by this correction have been advised
.in writing of this correction and invited to comment.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Redevelopment Land Use designation for.the properties
at 30 South First Avenue and 21-35 South First Avenue are corrected from Residential
High Density (RHD) to Commercial General (CG) as shown on Attachment "B".
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to send a certified copy
of this Ordinance to the Agency.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to record this Ordinance
on the property records for 21-35 and 30 South First Avenue (Attachment "B") with
the County Recorder of said County,
Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit copies of this
Ordinance and-Attachment "B" to the Auditor and TaxAssessor-of Los 'Anqeles County, to
the governing body of each of the taxing agencies which levies taxes upon the pro-
perty in the Project Area, and to the State Board of Equalization.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Ordinance.
