ORDINANCE NO. 1558
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ARCADIA AMENDING THE
ZONING ORDINANCE TO RECLASSIFY PROPERTY
AT 360-380 CAMPUS DRIVE (PORTION OF
HOLY ANGELS SCHOOL) FROM R-2 TO R-l
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the zoning map set forth in Section 9233.13
of the Arcadia Municipal Code is hereby amended so that property
commonly known as 360-380 Campus Drive presently classified R-2
shall hereafter be classified as R-l, Second One-Family Zone. Said
property is more particularly described as follows:
That portion of Holy Angels School property
presently zoned R-2 legally known as that portion
of Tract No. 2828 as shown on Map recorded in
Book 33, Page 63 of Maps, that portion of former
rHlht-of-lvay of Southern Pacific Railroad, that
portion of Lot 3, Tract No. 950 as shown on Map
recorded in Book 17, Page 25 of Maps and that
portion of Tract 2409 as shown on Map recorded
in Book 23, Page 23 of Maps in the Office of the
Recorder of Los Angeles County described as.
follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 31,
Tract No. 2828, thence southerly 395.75 feet in
a straight Ilne along the easterly line of Holly
Avenue as shown on said Tract No. 2828, and the
southerly projection of said easterly line; thence
easterly 631.52 feet along a line parallel with
the no~th line of T~act 10726 as shown on Map
recorded in Book 185, Page 32 of Maps in the
Office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County;
thence no~therly along the northerly prolongation
of the easterly line of said Tract 10726 to the
southerly line of Campus Drive 75 feet wide;
thence northwesterly along said southerly line
of Campus Drive to its intersection with the

abovementioned easterly line of Holly; thence
northerly along said easterly line of Holly to
the pOint of beglnning excepting therefrom that
portion of abovedescribed land lying within the
rights of way of Holly Avenue and/or Campus
Drive.
SECTION 2. That t'he City Council hereby finds that the
public convenience, general welfare and good zoning practice
justlfy the above amendment and that such zone change will not
have a substantial adverse impact on the environment.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this ordinance.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia
held on the 20th day of
