ORDINANCE NO. 1469
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARCADIA RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY
KNOWN AS 400-480 WEST HUNTINGTON DRIVE
AND 504-642 WEST HUNTINGTON DRIVE FROM
ZONE C-O & D TO R-3.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the zoning map set forth in Section
9233.12 of the Arcadia Municipal Code is hereby amended so that
certain property hereinafter described which is presently designated
C-O & D shall hereafter be designated R-3, Multiple Family Zone.
Said property is described as follows:
South side of Huntington Drive between Baldwin
Avenue and La Cadena Avenue: Those portions
of Lots 6 through 20 of Tract No. 2828 as shown
on map recorded in Book 33, page 63 of Maps in
the Office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County,
described as follows: Beginning at the south-
west corner of Lot 6, thence easterly along said
southerly tract line to the southwest corner of
Lot 19; thence north 111.83 feet alpng the west
line of said Lot 19; thence due east to the
east line of said Lot 19; thence north along
last said east line 125 feet; thence due east to
the west lire of La Cadena Avenue; thence north
along last said west line to its intersection
with the southerly line of Huntington Drive;
thence westerly along said Drive to the west
line of Lot 6; thence south to the point of
beginning.
South side of Huntington Drive between La Cadena
Avenue and Holly Avenue: Those portions of Lots
21 through 30 of Tract No. 2828 as shown on
map recorded in Book 33, page 63 of Maps in the
Office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County,
described as follows: Beginning at the inter-
section of the' southerly line of Huntington
Drive and the west line of La Cadena Avenue;
thence easterly along said southerly line to the
west line of Holly Avenue; thence south along
said west line to a point thereon distance
north 30.06 feet from the southeasterly corner

of Lot 30 of said Tract; thence westerly 105.87
feet parallel with the southerly line of Lot 30;
thence south to the southerly line of said lot
and tract; thence westerly along- said tract line
to the west line of Lot 23 of said tract; thence
north 227.08 feet along said west lot line;
thence westerly parallel with the southerly
line of said Drive to the east line of said
Avenue; thence north along last said east line
to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the City Council hereby finds that the
amendment complies with the General Plan which indicates this
area as high-density residential; and that the public convenience,
general welfare and good zoning practice justifies the above
amendment.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this ordinance.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia
held on the 19th day of December, 1972, by the affirmative vote
of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
