';20 ~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD' OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA PROHIBITING THE DEPOSIT OF SALT WATER OR DRIPPINGS FROM ANY ICE CREAM CONTAINER OR ANY VEHICLE USED IN THE DELIVERY OF ICE CREAM OR ANY OTHER SUBSTANCE IN OR UPON ANY PAVED OR IMPROVED I STREET, AVENUE OR ALLEY IN SAID CITY OF ARCADIA AND INJURIOUS THEREt TO. I I I , SECTION 1: That it shall be unlawful for any person,firm! I I THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: or corporation to pour, deposit or spill or cause or permit to be poured, deposited or spilled upon any paved or improved street, avenue or alley within said City of Arcadia, salt water or drip- pings from any ice cream contained or from any automobile or other vehicle used in the delivery of ice cream or other similar sub- stance or any other substance injurious to any such paved or im- proved street, avenue or alley. SECTION 2: Any person, firm or corporation violating .any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $300.00 or by imprisonment in the City Jail of said City of Arcadia for a period not exceeding three months cr by both such fine and imprisonment. SECT.ION 3: The City Olerk shall certify to the adoption of this 0rdinance and shall cause the same to be published once in I , I The Arcadia News, a weekly newspaper published and circulated in : I said Oity of Arcadia and thirty days from and after the final pas- I sage thereof, . the same shall take effect and be in force. I I The foregoing Ordinance ~as adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Arc2.dia, held on the 6th. day of July, 1927, by the affirmative vote of at least three Trus- tees, to-wit: AYES: Trustees Bailey, Hawk, Multer,Schermerhorn and Williams, NOES: Ivone, and signed and approved this 6th. day of July, 1927. pre~~h?2;;~ %" ees.
