AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF.GRANVILLE AVENUE IN SAID
CITY OF ARCADIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO ORDAIN AS FOL-
LOWS:
SECTION 1: That the public interest and convenience re-
quire and the City Council of said City of Arcadia does hereby or-
der the following improvement to be made, to-wit:
That Granville Avenue in said City of Arcadia be vacated (
and abandoned for street purposes as contemplated by Resolution No.
1j.1j.6 of said City 0 f Arcadia, adopted and approved December 21, 192}. ..
SECTION 2: That' said work is for the closing up, vacation
and abandonment of said Granville Avenus particularly described in
Section 1 hereof and it appears to said City Council that there
are no damages, costs or expenses arising out of said work and
that no assessment is necessary for said work and that therefore
no Commissioners are appointed to assess benefits or damages for
said work and to have general supervision thereof.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of said City of Arcadia shall
certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same
to be published once in The Arcadia News, a weekly newspaper pub-
lished and circulated in said City and thirty days from and a{ter
the final passage thereof the same shall take effect andbe in
force.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 21st. day of
March, 1925 by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen,
to-wit :
AYES: Councilmen, Granville, Hawk, Holt, Multer and Scher-
merhhllln,
NOES: None.
and signed and approved this
