ORDINANCE NO, 1926
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING ZONE CHANGE Z-90-001, CHANGING THE EXISTING
ZONE OF PR-3 (MULTIPLE-FAMILY ZONE WITH AUTOMOBILE
PARKING ZONE) TO C-2 & D (GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE
WITH ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN ZONE) FOR THE LOTS LOCATED
AT 311 AND 325 EAST LIVE OAK AVENUE AND 2616 SOUTH
THIRD A VENUE; AREA NORTH OF LIVE OAK A VENUE, EAST OF
THIRD AVENUE, WEST OF FOURTH A VENUE AND SOUTH OF
THE ALLEY
WHEREAS, zone change Z-90-001 was initiated by Ralph Sabatella for the
property located at 311 East Live Oak Avenue and the Planning Department
included the properties at 325 East Live Oak Avenue and 2616 South Third Avenue,
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 8, 1990 before the Planning

Commission at which time all interested persons were given full opportunity to be
heard and to present evidence, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia recommended
approval of subject zone change to the City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a public hearing concerning the zone
change on July 3, 1990 and approved said zone change,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, That the lots located at 311 and 325 East Live Oak Avenue and 2616
South Third Avenue; area north of Live Oak Avenue, east of Third Avenue, west of
Fourth Avenue and south of the alley (see Exhibit "A") presently zoned PR-3
(multiple-family zone with automobile parking zone) are hereby reclassified into
C-2 & D (general commercial zone with architectural design zone), and from and
after the effective date of this ordinance, said real properties shall be so zoned subject
to the restrictions imposed by the provisions of the zoning regulations of said City,
The Map contained in Section 9233,21 of the Arcadia Municipal Code is hereby
amended to reclassify and designate the described properties as a district in Zone
C-2 & D
Section 2, The City Council finds and determines that the requested zone
change is consistent with the general plan designation of Commercial and that the
public health, safety, general welfare and good zoning practice require the above
amendment,

SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and shall cause a copy of the same to be
published in the official newspaper of said city within fifteen
(15) days after its adoption.
Passed, approved and adopted this 7th day of August, 1990.

I, JUNE D. ALFORD, City Clerk of the City of Arcadia, hereby
certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1926 was passed and
adopted by the City Council of the city of Arcadia, signed by the
Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk at a regular meeting of
said Council held on the 7th day of August, 1990 ,and that said
Ordinance was adopted by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Ciraulo, Fasching, Gilb, Harbicht and Young
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
