AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF AUTOMOBILES OR OTHER VEHICLES ON A
CERTAIN PORTION OF HUNTINGTON DRIVE IN SAID CITY OF ARCADIA AND
ALSO ESTABLISHING A THIRTY MINUTE PARKING LIMIT ON A PORTION OF
SAID HUNTINGTON DRIVE IN SAID CITY OF ARCADIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That it shall be unlawful for any person,
firm or corporation operating a "Vehicle" as defined by Ordi-
nance No. 200 of said Uity of Arcadia, entitled: "An Ordinance
of the Board of Trustees of the vity of Arcadia regulating Traf-
fic on the Public Streets and repealing all Ordinances and parts
of Qrdinances in conflict therewith", adopted June 15, 1927, to
park any such vehicle on that certain public highway in said City
of Arcadia commonly known as Huntington Drive North, between. Bald
win Avenue and the Westerly boundary line of said vity of Arcadia
SECTION 2: That it Shall be unlawful for any person,
firm or corporation operating any such Vehicle. to park same on
that certain publiC highway in said Ulty of Arcadia commonly known
as Huntington Drive South between Baldwin Avenue and the Westerly
boundary line of said Oity of Arcadia, for a period longer than
thirty minutes.
SECTION 3: That it shall be unlawful for any person,
firm or corporation operating any such Vehicle, to park same on
Golden West Avenue
in said Uity

of Arcadia, between Fairview Ave-
Sunset Avenue, in said Uity of
nue and Huntington
Arcadia, between Fairview Avenue and Huntington Drive, for a per-
iad longer than thirty minutes.
SECTION 4: That the Chief of Police of said Oity of
Arcadia be and he is hereby authorized and directed to place and
maintain or cause to be placed and maintained, onthose portions
of Huntington Drive North, Huntington Drive South, Golden West
Avenue and Sunset Avenue, hereinabove specified, proper Official
Warning and Direction Signs for the purpose of enforcing the pro-
visions of this Ordinance.

SECTION 5: That any person, firm or corporation violat-
ing any of the provisions ~f this Ordinance, shall be deemed
gUilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be
punishable by a fine not exceeding $300.00 or by imprisonment
in the City Jail of the City of Arcadia or in the County Jail
of the County of Los Angeles, State of California, at the dis-
cretion of the Committing Magistrate, for a period not exceeding
three months or by both such fine and imprisonment.
SECTION 6: The City Clerk shall certify to the adop-
tion of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be,published
once in The Arcadia ~ews, a weekly newspaper published and cir-
culated in said City of Arcadia and thirty days from and after
the final passage thereof, the same shall take effect and be in
force.
The foregoing urdinance was adopted at a regular meet-
ing of the City Council of said City of Arcadia, heldon the 20th.
day of December, 1932, by the affirmative vote of at least three
Councilmen, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen Busse, Krebs, Link, Schrader and
Seaman,
NOES: None,
and signed and approved this 20th.day of December, 1932.
