AN ORDINANOE OF THE CITY 00ID10IL OF THE CITY OF AROADIA,
AMENDING ORDINANOE NO. 170 OF SAID OITY OF ARCADIA BY ADDING
THERETO A NEll SEOTION TO BE KNOWN AND NUMBERED SEOTION 8-B.
THE OITY COUNOIL OF THE OITY OF ARCADIA DO ORDAIN AS FOL-
LOWS:
DaSEOTION l' That Ordinance No. 170 of said Oity of Arcadia,

~~'and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto a new Section
to be known and numbered Section a-B, to read as follows:
SEOTION 8-B: That all that certain real property situate
in the Oity of Arcadia, Oounty of Los Angeles, State of Oaliforni
and described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at a point in the Southerly line of Lot One (1),
Tract No. 949, as per Map recorded in Book 17, Page 13 of Maps,
Records of said Oounty, distant 529.43 feet ~esterly from the
most Southeasterly corner of said Lot One (1), said point bei~
the intersection of the Southwesterly line of Oolorado Street,
and the said Southerly line of said Lot 1; tijence Northwesterly
along a curve concave to the Northeast and the radius of which
is 756.78 feet, said curve being the Southwesterly line of Colo-
rado Street, for a distance of 365.73 feet; thence South at right
angles to said Southerly line of said Lot 1, 348.84 feet to a
point in the Northwesterly line of Huntington Drive; thence North
easterly along a curve concave to the Southeast and the radius of
which is 995.37 feet, said curve being the Northeasterly line of
said Huntington Drive, for a distance of 346.07 feet to the in-
tersection of the Southwesterly line of Colorado Street; thence

Northwesterly along a curve concave to the Northeast and the
radius of which is 756.78 feet, said curve being the Southwester-
ly line of Oolorado Street, 2.82 feet to the point of beginning,
containing 1.049 acres, is hereby established as a District of
Zone "D" as defined by Ordinance No. 170 of said Oity of Arcadia,
entitled: "An Ordinance of the City of Arcadia, California, pro-

of buildings, structures, improvements and occupancy in said Sev-
eral Zones and the uses thereof; the percentage of area that may
be covered by improvements and the height to which buildings may
be erected; defining the terms used therein and prescribing the
penalty for the violation of the provisions thereof", adopted
March 3, 1926, and by Ordinance No. 217 of said City of Arcadia
amendatory thereof, entitled: "An Ordinance of the City Council
of the Oity of Arcadia amending Sections 2, 10 and 11 of Ordinance
No. 170 of said Oity of Arcadia and adding thereto a new Section
to be known and numbered Section 9-A" , adopted August 15,1928,
in order to designate, regulate and restrict the occupancy and
use of buildings, structures or improvements of premises in said
Zone liD" and from and after the effective date of this Ordinance
the real property hereinabove particularly described shall be and
become a district of said Zone "D".
SECTION 2: The Oity Clerk shall certify to the adop-
tion of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
once in The Arcadia News, a weekly newspaper published and cir-
culated in said Oity of Arcadia and thirty days from and after
the final passage thereof, the same shall take effect and be in
force.
The. foregoing Ordinance was adopted at a regular meet-
ing of the Oity Oouncil of the Oity of Arcadia, held on the 1st.
day of August, 1933, by the affirmative vote of at least three
Oouncilmen, to-wit:

Seaman,
NOES: Uoun9ilman Krebs,
and signed and approved this 1st. day of August, 1933.
