ORDINANCE NO. 295.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE OITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 ARCADIA ESTABLISHING SETBACK LINES ON PORTIONS OF HUNTINGTON
DRIVE AND REPEALING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 28l OF SAID
4 CITY (JJ! ARCADIA.

THE CI'lY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AROADIA DO ORDAIN
6 AS FOLLOWS:

SllX:TION 1:
That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 281 of
8 said City of Arcadia entitled: "An Ordinance of the City Council
9 of the City of Arcadia establishing setback lines on portions of
10 Huntington Drive. Orange Avenue and First Avenue in said City of
11 Arcadia. and repealing Ordinances Nos. 110. 112. l15. 177. l86.
12 189. 195. 241 and 252 of said Oity of Arcadia and all other
13 ordinances or parts of. ordinances of said Oity of Arcadia in
14 Conflict therewith", adopted August 15. 1933, be and the same is
15 hereby repealed.

Sl!X:TION 2:
That it shall be unlawful for any person.
17 firm or corporation to erect. construot or locate any building
18 or other structure upon any lot or land fronting on those certain
19 public streets and avenues in said Oity of Arcadia and herein-
20 after named. except in conformity to those certain setback lines
21 described as follows:
22 A setback line on the Northerly side of said Huntihg-
23 ton Drive from Second Avenue to First Avenue. in said City of
24 Arcadia, distant forty-five (45) feet Northerly from and
25 parallel to the center line of said Huntington Drive;
26 A se~back line on. tne Southerly side of said Huntington
27 Drive from Second Avenue to First Avenue, in said City of Arcadia,
28 distant forty-five (45) feet Southerly from and parallel to the
29 center line 01' said Huntington Drive;
30 A setback line on the Northerly side of said Hunting-
31 ton Drive from First Avenue to Santa Anita Avenue, in said City
32 of Arcadia, distant fifty (50) feet Northerly from and parallel

1 to the center line at said Huntington Drive;
2 A setbaok line on the Southerly side of said Hunting-
3 ton Drive from First Avenue to Santa Anita Avenue, in said City
4 of Aroadia, distant forty-four (44). teet Southerly trom and
5 parallel to the center line ot said Huntington Drive;
6 A setbaok line on the Northerly side of said Hunting-
7 ton Drive from S~ta Anita Avenue to the Easterly line of the
8 right-of-way of the Southern Pacifio Company, in said City of
9 Arcadia, distant forty-five (45) feet Northerly from and
10 parallel to the center line of said Huntington Drive.
n SECTION 3: That any person, tirm or oorporation
12 violating any of the provisions of this ordinanoe shall be deemed
13 guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon a oonvic tion thereof shall be
14 punished by tine not exceeding Three Hundred ($300) Dollars, or
15 by imprisonment in the city jail of said City ot Arcadia or in
16 the county jail of the Oounty of Los Angeles, State of Cali-
17 fornia, at the discretion of the committing magistrate for a
18 period not exceeding three (3) months, or by both such fine and
19 imprisonment, and each such person, firm or corporation shall be
20 deemed guilty of a separate offense for each day during any
21 portion of which the violation of or failure, neglect or re-
22 tusal to comply with any of the provisions of this ordinance
23 is committed, continued or permitted.
24 SECTION 4: The City Olerk shall certify to the
25 adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same .to be published
26 once in the Arcadia Tribune, a weekly newspaper published and
27 circulated in said City of Arcadia, and thirty days from and
28 after the final passage thereof the same shall take effect and
29 be in force.

BACK LINES ON PORTIONS OF
HUNTINGTON DRIVE AND RE-
PEALING SECTION I OF ORDI-
NANCE NO. 281 OF SAID CITY
OF ARCADIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARCADIA DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Tha.t Section 1 of
Ordinance No. 281 of said City of
Arcadia entitled: "An Ordinance of
the City Council of the City of Ar-
cadia establishing setback lines on
portions of Huntington Drive. Or-
ange Avenue and First Avenue in
said City of Arcadia, and repealing
Ordinances Nos. 110. 112, 115, 177,
186. 189, 195, 241 a.nd 252 of said City
of Arcadia and all other ordinances
or parts of ordinances of said City
of Arcadia in conflict therewith"
adopted August 15. 1933, be anti thF!
same Is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2: That it shall be un.

side of said Huntington Drive from
First Avenue to Santa Anita Ave-
nue, in said City of Arcadia, distant

A setback line on the Southerly

First Avenue to Santa Anita Ave-

SECTION 3: That any person,

the provisions of this ordinance shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
