The Chicf of tho Fire Department shall dosignate an orficer of the Fire Department who shall be in charge of the 1"iro Prevention Bureau. The Chief of the Fire Department may detail such other momborD of the Fire Department So:! inspoctors II.S :lhall from time to time be necesslU'Y. 3f;cnOH 3: It shall be tho (iu ty of tho officers of tho l:lureau of Flre Provention to enforce all laws and ordlnances covoring the following: 1. The prevention of firea~ 2. Tho storage and use of explosives ond flammablos; 3. SECTIOn 0: '1'he Chief of the Fire Department or an Inspector, upon the complaint of any peraon or whenov~r he or they 5hl11l doom it neoesGary, ohall inspect any building and pt'em1sea involved In the complaint. Suoh roport shall be In such form as shall be prescribed by tho Chief of too Fire DepurtClcnt, and shall contain a statement of all facts relating to the cause, origin and cir- cumstances of such f1re, and llxtent of tlltt damage thereof, Ilnd tho insuranco upon such property, und such otht,r information as may be required. 'SEC1'ION 11: The City Attorney, upon rOGuest of the Bureau of Fire Prevention shall assist tlw inspectors in the investigation of any fire which, in thoir opinion, is of s~:lpic.1o~:l oriGin. ~gc'rrou 12; It shall be tho duty of tho Chief of the FiNl De- partment to require teachers of public, private and paroor~al schools and educational institutions to have not leen than one fire drill each month and to keep all doors and exits unlocked during 80hool hO\l1's. S~GTION 141 The annual report of the Bureau of Fire Prevention shall b e .Cllldo :on or before the First day of August, and transmitted to the Chief o~ the Fire Department; it shall contain all proceedin~s under this ordinance".w:lth such statistics as the Chief of t he Fire may wish to include therein; the Ch~ef of tho Fire Department Department/shull also Deco~end any amendments to the ordinances which, in his judgmont, shull bo desirable.
