ORDINANCE NO. 733
AN ORDINJ.\.NCE OF' Tlli. CITY COUNCIL OF TIlli CITY OF ARCADIA,
ORDBRING THE ABhlfDONI:lliNT OF CERTAIN EASB~iliNT FOR DRAINAGE
OF STREET WATER FROM NORMAN AVbNIlli IN 'l'RACT NO. 14339 IN
SAID CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience require
and the City Council of the City of Arcadia, in pursuance of
Resolution of Intention No. 1806 and after a public hearing there-
on as provided by the provisions of t he "Public Service Easements
Vacation Act (Stats 1943. ch 774)," finds that the easement des-
cribed in said Resolution of Intention, viz:
An easement covering the following d~scribed real property
situate within the corporate limits of said City heretofore
acquired by the City of Arcadia by deed recorded in Book
24742, page 246 of the official records of t he County of
Los Angeles, to wit: The east 30 feet of the south 195
feet of Lot 122, and the east 30 feet of Lot 123, Arcadia
Acerage Tr,slCt, as shown on map recorded in Book 10, page
18 of maps, records of Los Angeles County, in the office
of the Cou~ty Recorder of Los Angeles County.
is unnecessary ~or present or prospective public use.
SECTION 2. That the aforesaid easement be, and the same is
hereby, vacated and abandoned.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
Ordinance, atte~lted by the City Clerk under t he seal of the City, to
be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk of said City shall certify to the
adoption of thiB Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published
once in the Arcadia Tribune and Arcadia News, a weekly newspaper
published and c~rculated in said City of Arcadia and hereby designated

for that purpos,e, and thirty days from and after the passage thereof,
the same shall be in full force end effect.
I HE.'REBY CJo:ri'l'IF'Y THAT the foregoing Ordinance was adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held
on the 2nd day of November, 1948, by t he affirmative vote of at
least three Councilmen, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen, Boucher, Klomp, Nugent.and Russell

None
