THb CITY COUNCIL OF THB CITY OF aRCr\.uIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDr\.IN AS FOLLO~S: SECTION 1. That there is hereby created the position.of Chief of the Property Inventory Division of the City of Arcadia;: the duties to be performed in such position to include the preparation, main- tenance and sub~ission to the City Council upon re~uest of said Council of an inventory of all of the physical assets belonging to the City of Arcadia, a municipal corporation, such inventory to contain sufficient information as to permit the reasonable identification of the property thus owned by the City. SECTION 2. That Emma E. Hainer be and she is hereby appointed to the position of Chief of the Property Inventory Division, in addition to her position as City Treasurer, lL'1d that she be paid the additional sum of ~50. 00 per month as compensation for the a dded duties imposed upon her and for all services rendered by her in such position. That said Em:na E. Hai:;ler be and she is hereby required to devote such time to the duties of Chief of the Property Inventory Division as may be necessary or required by the City Council. SECTION 3. That the duration of the employment hereby created and the tenure of said Emma E. Hainer in such position shall be at the pleasure of the City Council. ShCTION 4. That the position hereby created and the employment herein provided for shall be on a part-time and not a full-time basis and the provisions of Ordinance No. 431 of the City of Arcadia, as amended, providing for the adoption of a personnel system, shall not apply to or affec: t such position or to the employment of said Emma E. Hainer therein. SECTION 5. The city Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be published once in the Arcadia -1- INDCCEJ) CMcQ , 7'/o~- Tribune and ArcadialTeYIS, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and thirty (30) days from and after the final passage thereof said Ordinance shall take effect and be in force.
