THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCilDIA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That it shall be unlawful for the driver of any "vehicle," as defined by Ordinance No. 200 of said City of Arcadia, to park, stand or leave the same standing on Huntington Drive North, between Fifth Avenue and Colorado Place, a public highway in said City of Arcadia, unless the ri~ht front and the ri~ht rear wheels of such vehicle are not more than ei~hteen inches distant from the curb of said Huntington Drive; provided, however, that the provision of this Section shall not apply in case of emergency or when such stop is made for the purpose of allowing another vehicle or interurban railroad car or a pedestrian to pass in front of such vehicle so stopped, or 1"hen in compliance with an order or signal of a police or traffic officer. SECTIOK 2. That all other vortions of Ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same are herebY, repealed; that this repealing clause is not intended to affect any other Ordinance or portion of Ordinance in the City of Arcadia not in conflict \'Iith this Ordinance..' SECTIO~ That any person violating any of the pro- visions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a mis- demeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00), or by imprisonment in the City Jail of said City of Arcadia, or in the County Jaim of the County of Los Angeles, State of Calif- ornia, at the discretion of the Committing Magistrate, for a neriod not exceeding three (3) months, or by both fine and \"\).".~~. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof shall cause the same to be Dublished once in the Arcao ia Tribune and Arcadia News, a nEwspaper of gpneral circulation, Dub- lished and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and thirty days from and after the final passage thereof said Ordinance shall take effect and be in force.
