That pursuant to tbe recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia, made after public bearing as provided by Section 26 of Ordinance No. 439 of said City, adopted June 28, 1940, tpe zone classification of certain real property situated in the City of Arcadia, County of Los An~eles, State of California, be and tbe same is bereby reclassified and from and after tbe effective date of tbis Ordinance the various parcels of real property hereinafter described shall be and become a district of the zone in which the same is placed as defined in said Ordinance lio. 439. The description of said real property and the zone in which the same is established is as follows: (a) All that portion of the City of Arcadia bounded on tbe north by Colorado Boulevard; on the east by Fifth Avenue; on the south by the Pacific Electric Railvay right-of-vay and on the west by the Santa Anita \'lash be rezoned and established as a district in Zone R-l. (b) All that portion of the City of Arcadia bounded on the north by the Pacific Electric Rail~ay right-of-way; on the east by Fifth Avenue; on. the south by a line which is 110 feet northerly from and parallel vith the north line of Huntington Drive and on the west by a line which is 150 feet vesterly from and parallel with the nest line of Fifth Avenue be rezoned and established as a district in R-l. (c) All that portion of the City of Arcadia bounded on the north by the Pacific Electric Railvay right-of-vay; on the east by a line which is 150 feet westerly from and parallel with the westerly line of Fifth Avenue; on the south by a line which is 110 feet northerly from snd parallel with the northerly line of Huntin3ton Drive and on the west by the Santa Anita ~a8h be rezoned and -1- Io;O!Jt:",) C/lL'/ ,56:;j> established as .9. district in Zone M-l. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passag.s thereof, shall cause the same to be published once in the Arcadia 'rribune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of general circulation, pUblished and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and thirty (30) days from and after the final passage thereof said Ordinance shall take effect and be in force.
