City of Arcadia, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. ~39 of
said City, adopted June 28, 1940, askinG that an exception be made
affect)n~ the property descriaed in said ~2tition, and settin3 fo~th

Covr.isdon to t;,io Council, and a fnlJ inveotl::;ation and considoration
of the facts r.avin~ been made by this Council pertinent to this
petition; this Ccuncil determines that there are e;;ceptional or

involved and to the intended uses thereof that do not 3enerally apply

This Council, therefore, excepts from the r:rovlsions of
the rospective zono of Ordinance No. 439 of the City of Arcadia, the
property horotnaftcr ~escr~bed, but only insofar as such exception
is necessary to P13r:lit the follovin...; described r;roparty, to \'lit:

to be uood for tho preparation, cooking, preserving and candying

(c) That in case any of the provlsi~ns of thiu Jrdinanco

as defined in Ordinance No. 439, and the rights and privileges here-
in Granted shall ten~inate and cease, in the event that any such
viola tion is not ter,r.inated \7i thin thirty days, or such further time
as the Ci ty Council ,.1ll,y decide that tho O':!llers of said "rope rty, in
the exercise of d~e dili~ence, reql~re to correct such violation
after the o,mers of said property hRve been given \7ritten notice by
the City Council of such violation.
SECTIOE 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the ado~tion of
this Ordinance and ~rior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from
the passa::;e thero)f, shall cause the same to be published once in
the Arcaclia Tribu.'1e and il.rcac'lia ,;erls, a ne\7spe.per of general cir-
culatlon, publish3d and circl~lated in the City of Arcadia, and thirty
(30) days fron and after the final passa..;e thereof said Ordinance
shall ta~e effect and be in force.
I hereby certify that the forJgoin::; Ordinance \7as adopted at
a regular meetin3 of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on
the 18th day of i)occ;lber, 1945, by the affirnative vote of at least
three Counci1rr.en, to ~it:
