AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA CLASSIFYING CER~AIN REAL PRO~~RTY FOR ZONING PURPOSES AND ESTABLISH- ING SAID PROPERTY IN ZONE R-I-A OF SAID CITY A~ DEFINED IN ORDINANCE NO. 439 OF SAID CITY, ADOPTED JUNE 28. 1940. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARt:aDIA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOYlS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to written request of the owner of the hereinafter described real property, and upon recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia, said real property is hereby established as a district in Zone R-I-A under the provisions of Ordinance No. 439 of the City of Arcadia, adopted June 28. 1940, and from and after the effective date of this Ordinance said real property shall be Bnd become a portion of the district as herein indicated. Said rl~al property is more particularly described as follows: That portioIl of Lot 4. of Tract No. 948 in the County of Los Angeles. State of California, as shown on map recorded in Book 17, Page 21 of MapEl, records of said County described as follows: Beginning at; a point in a line which is 15 feet (measured at right angles) northerly from and parallel with the southerly line of Lot 4 of ssid Tract No. 948, distant 1201.20 feet easterly thereon from the westerly line of said Lot 4, said point being in the northerly line of Foothill Boulevard (80 feet in width) thence north 30 54' East. 1258.54 feet more or less to the northerly line of said Lot 4, thence westerly along said northerly line to the northwesterly corner of said Lot 4, thence south 30 54' west along the westerly line of said Lot 4, 1258.54 feet. more or less, to the intersection with the northerly line of said Foothill Boulevard, thence easterly along the northerly line of said Foothill Boulevard 1201.20 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be published once in the Arcadia Tribune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of general circulation, -l- /J /.,,:; fj'C-" ( ./--1.
