No. ~ (; () ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 488 OF SAID CITY REGULATING AREA OF LOTS IN SUBDIVISIONS, REQUIRING CERTAIN DATA ON SUBDIVISION MAPS, REQUIRING THE FILING OF TRACT RESTRICTIONS AND PROVIDING FOR THE GRA}HING OF EASID,lliNTS FOR CERTAIN PURPOSES. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 488 of the City of Arcadia entitled, "An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Arcadia provid- ing specifications for street work; regulating the width of streets, alleys and parkways and also regulating the installation of water mains in new subdivisions in said City of Arcadia.lI, adopted July 21, 1942, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto four new sections to be known and numbered as Sections 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4 and to read as follows: At.lHlI1fO ORf 58t1- "SECTION 1.1 All lots shall have a minumum average width of 60 feet, a minimum frontage of 60 feet on a public street; and. a minimum area of 7500 square feet, unless otherwise approved by the City Council; provided, that where property is zoned as business property, the minimum width and minimum frontage may be reduced to 40 feet, and the mimimum area to 4000 square feet, unless otherwise approved by the City Council. SECTION 1.2 Complete center line data for all streets within and adjoining the subdivision shall be shovm on the final map. The sub- divider shall place approved center line monuments with permanent refer- ences thereto, and furnish a set of approved field notes to the City Engineer. SECTION l~ The subdivider shall furnish to the City Engineer one blue line print of said subdivision after recordation \nth the County Recorder. Also one copy of any restrictions recorded with said subdiVision. SECTION 1.4 Easements for public utilities, sewers, storm drains or storm water channels, and slope rights shall be provided wherever deemed necessary by the City Engineer and approved by the City Council." SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and prior m the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be published once in the Arcadia Tribune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and thirty (30) days from and aft~ " -..1.- UlfII/IP O/(,/,:}'/( the final passage thereof said Ordinance shall take effect and be in force.
