MC 11 -23 & SINGLE - FAMILY DESIGN REVIEW NO. SF ADR 11 -105 1621 Melanie Lane Ty Otjen Approved, 3 -0 2. MODIFICATION APPLICATION NO. MC 11 -18 1060 Hampton Road Robert O'Conner Request 1, approved, 3 -0 Request 2, denied. 3 -0, with the following conditions: 1. The wall assemblies and eaves of the subject buildings shall be one -hour rated, to the satisfaction of the Fire Marshal and the Building Official. 2. The filing fee for a subsequent modification application for the detached garage shall be waived. Baerg, Kruckeberg, and Penman The applicant is requesting the following approvals for a 164 square -foot, one -story addition that will be located between the existing 2,094 square -foot residence and a detached, two -car garage: 1. A Modification for a 20' -0" southerly street -side yard setback in lieu of the 25' -0" standard requirement and 40' -0" special setback from Norman Avenue (AMC Secs. 9252.2.3.2 & 9320.58.2); and 2. Architectural design approval of the proposed addition and facade changes to the exterior of the residence. The following modifications to legalize a non - permitted 656 square -foot, detached garage and pool room, and a non - permitted conversion of a 483 square -foot, detached garage into a covered patio: 1. A 4' -0" building separation in lieu of a minimum of 10' -0" required (AMC Sec. 9251.2.9.1); and 2. A 16' -4" clear parking back out space in lieu of 25' -0" minimum required (AMC Sec. 9251.2.6). The Rancho Santa Anita Property Owners Association has reviewed and approved the architectural design of the proposal.
