' 'r. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY IF ARCADIA; CALIFORNIA, DOES ClETERMINE AND ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That proceedings for the annexation of the property hereinafter described }'1ere, :tnstituted '.by tl1e ,City of Ar- cadia under and pursuant to Resolution No. 2689, adopted October 18, , , 1955; that prior to the adoption of said resolution, the matter of the annexation of the property hereinafter described was considered by the City Planning Commission, of the City of Arcadia, which said Commission recommended the annexation of the property hereinafter described and the zoning thereof by temporary interim zoning as hereinafter provided. That said Resolution No. 2689 gave notice of the intention of the City of Arcadia to annex the property herein- after described, set a time and place for the hearing of protests to such annexation, and further prOVided that at the time and place of said hearing and in connection with said hearing on said annexation the City Council would consider the recommendation of the City Plan- ning Commission that concurrent with such annexation interim emer- gency zoning be adopted placing said territory in the following zones under the zoning regulations of the City of Arcadia, to wit:, The westerly 200 feet thereof in Zone R-l; the easterly 200 feet, more or less, west of Baldwin Avenue in Zone C-l; and the balance thereof in Zone PR-3, upon the conditions recommended by the City Planning Commission. That thereafter the City Council of the City o~ Arcadia adopted its certain Ordinance No. 938 wherein and whereby the property hereinafter described was annexed to the City of Arca- dia. At the 'time of the aforesaid hearing on said annexation, the City Council of the City of Arcadia determined that the property -1- INQSlIli~ 954 - hereinafter described should be annexed and that the property should be zoned in the manner and upon the conditions specified in the recommendation of the Arcadia City Planning Commission. SECTION 2. That in accordance with the foregoing, ,the City Council, of the City of Arcadia does hereby determine that the follow- ing property thus annexed to the City of A~cadia should, be zoned in the following manner and upon the following conditions: That the following real property, Lots 1 and 17, Tract No. 19681, as shown on map recorded in Book 511, pages 26 and 27, of Maps, and those portions of Lots 1, 4 and 5, Block G, Santa Anita Land Company's Tract, as shown on map recorded in Book 6, page 137, of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, included within the fOllowing described exterior boundary line: Beginning at the intersection of the west line of Baldwin Avenue (55 feet wide) with the south line of the north half of Lot 5, Block G,' Santa Anita Land Company's Tract; thence westerly along said south line to the southeast corner of Lot 1, Tract No. 19681; thence northerly along the east line of Lots 1 and 17 of said Tract No. 19681 to the north- ,east corner of said Lot 17; thence westerly to the northwest corner of said Lot 17; thence northwest- erly to a point in the south line of Lot 1, Block G, Santa Anita Land Company's Tract, distant 234 feet west from the southeast corner of said Lot 1; thence north parallel with the west line of said Lot 1 to the north line thereof; thence east there- on to the northeast corner of said Lot 1, being a point in the west line of Baldwin Avenue; thence southerly thereon to the point of beginning, except- ing therefrom any portion thereof included within public streets or alleys, be established as a district in Zone C-l. That the following real property, The west 200 feet of the north 204.643 feet of Lot 4, Block G, Santa Anita Land Company's Tract, as recorded in Book 6, page 137, of Maps, in the office of, ,the, County' R~cor4er of Los >Ange,les, County, , be established as a district in Zone R-l. That the followi~g real proper~y" That portion of Lot 4, Block G, Santa Anita Land Company's Tract, as recorded in Book 6, page 137, of'Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County: Beginning at a point in the north line of said -2- 954 - lot distant 200 feet east from the northwest corner thereof; thence east along said north line a distance of 196 feet; thence southeast- erly to the northwest corner of Lot 17, Tract No. 19681; thence west along the north line of Tract No. 19681 to a point 200 feet east of the west line of said ~ot 4; thence north to the point of beginning, be established as a district in Zone PR-3. That said determinations are predicated upon the following conditions: 1. That twenty feet be dedicated for the widening of Baldwin Avenue; " '2.' That an all'eybe dedicated extending from Camino Real to the south line of the proposed annexation; 3. That sufftcient'property be dedicated to widen Callita ..' !. S~reet to a 60-foot width; 4. That property be dedicated to provide street access from Callita street to the west end of the deep portion of the a.nnexation; 5. That the three p_arcels of land facing Camino Real be combined'anddeveloped as parcels facing Baldwin Avenue. That when each of said conditions shall have been complied with the respective parcels of the property thus annexed shall, without fur- ther proceedings, be classified and zoned as hereinbefore set forth. That until each of the foregoing shall have been complied ~lith, all of said property shall be and remain in Zone R-l as provided in Section 3-D of Ordinance No. 760 of the City of Arcadia unless'and , proceedings for the reclassification of all or, any until separate portion of said 'property shall have been completed. SECTION 3.
