HomeMy WebLinkAbout0997 ORDINANCE NO. 997 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA~ CALIFORNIA, VACATING THE FIRST ALLEY EAST OF HUNGATE LANE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES DETERIvlINE AND RESOLVE AS, FOLLOHS : ,SECTION 1. After a public hearing, regularly held and duly noticed' pursuant to Ordinance No; 985 of the City Council adopted July 16" 1957, the Ci'ty Council does hereby find and' deter- mine that the public interest and convenience~equire the vacation of the first alley east of Hungate ,Lane, between the easterly pro- longation of the south line of Southview Road and the easterly pro- longation of the south line of Lot 10, Tract No. 19503, per map recorded in Book 584, pages ~7 and 28; of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County. SECTION 2. That the first alley east of Hungate Lane, between the, easterly prolongation of the south line of Southview Road and the easterly prolongation of the south line Of Lot 10, Tract No. 19503, per map recorded in Book 584, pages 27 and 28, of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County, be and the same is hereby vacated. ' SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinahce and prior 'to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be publiShed once in the Arcadia Tribune and Arcadia News, a newspaper of general circulation published and circUlated in the City of Arcadia, and thirty (30) days from and after the final passage thereof said , , Ordinance shall take effect and be in force.
