IJ-t/ , AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIill CITY O~ ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, CLASSIFYING & RECLASSIFYING C~RTAI~ REALPROFERTY IN THE CITY OF ARCADIA IN ACCORDANCE I'lITH DETERMINATIONS DULY ~1ADE RELATIVE TI1ERETO. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFOro~IA, DOES DETERMINE AND ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That proceedings for the' annexation to the City of Arcadia of the property hereinafter described were duly in- stituted by the City of Arcadia pursuant to Resolution No. 2589 adopted october.18, 1955, and completed by the adoption, on Decem- ber 6, 1955, of Ordinance No. 930 and, the filing of the same with the Secretary of state. That. concurrent wi~h said proceedings hear- ings were held and determinations made by the City Planning Commis- sion and the City Council, at the conclusion of which it was recom- mended and determined that the property thus annexed should, upon its annexation, be classified and reclassified as hereinafter provided, upon the condition that certa~n dedications for street and alley pur- poses be made and that the lots in said annexed territory facing Camino Real be reversed to face Baldwin Avenue. That the required street arid alle~T dedications have been made and the condition as to the reversal of the Camino Real lots has been substantially performed by the execution and recordation of a covenant by the owners of the property to accomplish such lot reversal; that subject territory shouldbe.and the same is hereby classified and reclassified as here- tofore determined and hereinafter specified. SECTION 2. That in accordance with the foregoing, the following real property be and the same is hereby classifiea and re- classified as. follows: a. Lots 1 and 17, Tract No. 19681, as shown on map -1- 999 recorded in Book 511, pages 26 and 27, of Maps and those portions of Lo~1,,4 and 5, Block G, Santa Anita Land Company's Tract, as shown on map recorded in Book 6, page 137, of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, included wi thin the fOllowing described exterior boundary lines: Beginning at the intersection of .the west line of Baldwin Avenue (55 feet wide) with the south line of the north half of Lot 5, Block G, Santa Anita Land Company's ~ract; thence westerly along said south line to the southeast corner of Lot 1, Tract No. 19681; thence northerly along the east line of Lots 1 and 17 of said Tract No. 19681 to the north- east corner of said Lot 17; thence westerly to the northwest corner of said Lot 17; thence northwest- erly to a point in the south line of Lot 1, Block ' G, Santa Anita Land Company's Tract, distant 234 feet west.from the southeast corner of said Lot 1; . thence, 'north parallel wi th the west line of said Lot 1 to the north 'line thereof; thence east there- on to the northeast corner of' said Lot 1, being a point in the west line of Baldwin Avenue; thence southerly thereon to the point of beginning, except- ing therefpom any portion thereof included within public streets or alleys,. be and the same are hereby established as a district in Zone C-l; b. The west 200 feet of the north 204.643 feet of Lot 4, Block G, Santa Anita Land Company's Tract, as recorded in Book 6, page 137, of Maps,in the office of tJ:e County Recorder of Los Angeles County, be and the same is hereby established as a district in Zone R~l; c. That portion of Lot 4, Block G, Santa Anita Land company's Tract, as recorded in Book 6, page 137, . of Mapsj'int):'le office .of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County:.- Beginning at a point in the north line of said lot distant '200, feet east from the.northwest corner thereof;, .thence east along said north line a distance 01"196 feet; thence southeast- erly to .the northwest corner' of Lot .17, Tract No. 19681; thence west along the north line of Tract No. 19681 to a point 200 feet'east of the west line of said Lot 4; thence nOrth to the point of' beginning, : be and the same is hereby established as a district ,in Zone R-3 and also in Zone P; and from and after" the effective .date ofthi13 ordi- nance said real property shall be rezoned and e:stablished as a dis- trict in Zones C-l> R-l, and R-3 and P, respectively, under the pro- visions of Ordinance No. 760 of 'said'City, as amended, and said Ordinance No. 760, and the map contained therein, are hereby amended //. /' I i \ \ \ \ . -- -2- 99~ .to reclassify and designate the above described property as districts in Zones C-l, R-l, and R-3 and F, respectively under the provisions of Ordinance 'No. 760. SECTION 3. The C~ty Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof shall cause the same to be published once in the Arcadia..Tribuneand Arcadia News, a newspaper of general cir- culation purblished and circulated.in the City of Arqadia, and thirj.;y (30) days from and after. the final passage thereof said ordinance shall take effect and be in force. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council .of the City of Arcadia, held on the day of , 1957, by the affirma- tive vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit: AYES: 'NOES: . .
