AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ARCADIA; CALIFORNIA;
AMENDING SECTION 10 OF ORDINANCE NO.
600 OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA AND '
REPEALING SECTION 14 OF SAID ORDINANCE
NO. 600. '

FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 10 of Ordinance No. 600 of the
City of Arcadia; entitled "A~ ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE

, NANCES NOS. 485, 502 AND 581 OF SAID CITY OF ARCADIA", adopted on
the 15th day of October, i946, ,be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
SECTION 10. Said Pound Master shall' keep confined in
said Pound, properly provided with food and water, all dogs 'im-

pounded by him, for five days or until redeemed as hereinafter pro-
vided. The owner of any licensed or unlicensed dog which shall be
redeemed under the provisions of this Section shall pay the Pound

Said Pound Master shall p~st a description of all dogs impounded by
him at the Pound designa~ed by the City Council under the provi- '

sions of this Ordinance ~nd at the bulletin board at the City Hall
in the City of Arcadia for a period of not less than five days, and

SECTION 2. That Section 14 of said Ordinance No. 600 is

through a department or under private contract be as nearly self-
sustaining financially as possible. It i,s therefore necessary that
the foregoing redemption fees. be increased immediately.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the,adoption

in the Arcadia Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, pub-
lished and circulated in t,he City of Arcadia.
