HomeMy WebLinkAbout0815 ORDINANCE NO. 815 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN SAID CITY FOR ZONING PURPOSES AND ESTABLISHING SAID PROPERTY IN ZONE R-3 OF SAID CITY, AS DEFINED IN ORDINANCE NO. 760 OF SAID CITY, ADOPTED MAY 3, 1949. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTlON 1. That pursuant to the recommendation of the Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia, made after public hearing as provided in Section 18 of Ordinance No. 760 of said City, adopted May 3, 1949, the following described real property, situated in the City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of California, to wit: the property on each side of Fairview Avenue, from Sunset Boulevard to the West Boundary of said City, as now constituted, shall be and the same is hereby reclassified and from and after the effective date of this Ordinance said real property shall be re- zoned and established as a district in Zone R-3, under the provi- sions of said Ordinance No. 760, and said Ordinance No. 760 and Sheet 4 of the Zoning Map thereof is hereby amended accordingly. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be published once in the Arcadia Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, pub- lished and circulated in the City of Arcadia, and thirty (30) days from and after the final passage thereof, said Ordinance shall take effect and be in force. o I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 18th day of July" 1950, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Kennett, Klomp, Nottingham, Schmocker and Sull1 van NOES: None ABSENT: 0("/ fio- /C City Clerk of the City of cadia.
