RESOLUTION NO. 5910
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING VOTING PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES,
APPOINTING PRECINCT BOARD MEMBERS AND FIXING COMPENSATION FOR
THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF SAID CITY ON TUESDAY, APRIL
9, 1996, HERETOFORE CALLED BY RESOLUTION NO. 5894 OF THE CITY
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, a general

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That for the purpose of holding said regular general
municipal election, there shall be and are hereby established twenty-six
voting precincts consisting of the following:
(a) The consolidation of fifty-seven regular election precincts in
the City of Arcadia into twenty-five voting precincts;
(b) One voting precinct consisting of the consolidation of four
regular precincts in the Arcadia Unified School District established for
the holding of state and county elections, as said election precincts
exist on the date of adoption of this resolution. This is required
because of City Charter Proposition A affecting the Arcadia Unified
School District;

(c) Six all mail ballot precincts consisting of consolidations of
ten split precincts for said election within the Arcadia Unified School
District.
SECTION 2. That the polling places for the respective precincts
shall be the places hereinafter designated; and that the persons
hereinafter named, being competent and qualified electors and residents
of said City and School District, are hereby appointed precinct board
members for their respective voting precincts, and they shall hold said
election and make return thereof in the manner provided by law.
SECTION 3. That the compensation of the persons hereinafter named
as precinct board members is hereby fixed at the sum of sixty dollars
for each Inspector and fifty dollars for each Clerk for said election.
The rental for each such polling place, where a charge is made, shall be
the sum of thirty dollars for said election. When required" the
compensation of the custodian of a building shall be fifteen dollars for
said election.
