RESOLUTION NO. 5100
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARCADIA COMMEMORATING THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE
ARCADIA FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Arcadia Fire Department is celebrating its
60th Anniversary on June lB and 19, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the Areadia Fire Department has established a
reputation in the San Gabriel Valley for total commitment and in-
volvement.in the community; and
WHEREAS, the citizens of Arcadia have come to appreciate
and depend upon the members of the Arcadia Fire Department for
emergency response; and
WHEREAS, Arcadia Firefighters protect the community at
personal risk, making the welfare of the community of the highest
priority;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARCADIA, that the Arcadia Fire Department is to be con-
gratulated for 60 years of continuous service to the citizens of
Arcadia.
