RESOLUTION NO. 542.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SuPERVISORS TO INCLUDE THE INSTALLATION
OF A TEN INCH CAST IRON WATER MAIN AS PART OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF
LONGDEN AVENUE, UNDER ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 84.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Longden Avenue under
those certain proceedings commonly known as Acquisition and Im-
provement District No. 84, and .
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City of Arcadiadeems
that public interest and necessity demand that there be included
as a part of said improvement the installation of a cast iron wate I
,
main in a portion of Longden Avenue situate within the corporate
limits of said City of Arcadia,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of
the City of Arcadia request the Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles
County to include as a part of the improvement of said Longden Ave-I
nue, under said Acquisition and Improvement District No. 84, the
installation in the Northerly side of said Longden Avenue between
Holly Avenue and El Monte Road, in said City of Arcadia, a ten inchl
I
Class B, No. 150 Cast Iron water main.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolu-
tion.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 5th. day
of February, 1930, by the affirmative vote of at least three Coun-
cilmen, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Bolz, Multer, Schermerhorn and Walshe.
NOES: None,
ABSENT: Councilman Granville,
and signed and approved this 5th. day of February, 1930.
