A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
PROVIDING FOR THE HOLDING OF A GENERA~ hWNICIPAL ELECTION IN SAID
CITY OF ARCADIA ON THE l~TH. DAY OF APRIL, 1930, PROVIDING FOR THE
POLLING PLACES FOR THE HOLDING OF SUCH ELECTION, APPOINTING THE
ELECTION OFFICERS FOR THE SAME AND FIXING THEIR C01~ENSATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO RESOLVE .AS
FOLLOWS:

That a General Municipal Election be and the same is
hereoy called to be held in said City of Arcadia on Monday, the
14th. day of April, 1930, for the purpose of electing the follow-
ing officers, to-wit:
1. Three members of the City Council of said City of
Arcadia to hold office for the full term or period of four yesrs
from and after the 21st. day of April, 1930.
2. One member of the City Council of said City of Ar-
~
cadia to hold office for the unexpired term or period of two years
from and after the 21st. day of April, 1930.
That the polls for said Election shall be opened a.t six
o'clock on the morning of the day of said Election and shall be
kept open until seven o'clock in the afternoon of the same day,
when the polls shall be closed, except as provided in Section
116~ of the Political Code of the state of California.

That said Election shall in all other respects conform
to the General Election laws of the State of California., insofar
as the same are applicable to General Municipal Elections in
Cities of the Sixth Class.
That the Election Precincts last established and desig-
nated within said City of Arcadia by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Los Angeles, State of California, for the holding
of General Elections and which said County Precincts so estaolished
were and are designated as Arcadia City Precincts Nos. 1, 2, 3,
~, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, res:Jectively, shall for the purpose of said
General Municipal Election be consolidated, designated and shall
embrace all that part of said City of Arcadia as follows, to-wit:
A. Arcadia City Precinct No.1, Arcadia, City precinct

No.2 and Arcadia City Precinct No.3 shall be consolidated and
designated as Arcadia City Consolidated Precinct No.1, which
said Arcadia City Consolidated Precinct No.1 shall consist of
and be coextensive with said Arcadia City Precincts Nos. 1, ?
and 3.
B.- Arcadia City Precinct No. ~ and Arcadia City Pre-
cinct No.5 shall be consolidated and designated as Arcadia City
Oonsolidated Precinct No.2, which said Arcadia City Consolidated'
Precinct No.2 shall consist of and be coextensive with said Ar-
cadia City Precincts Nos. 4 and 5.
. C.- Arcadia City Precincts Nos. 6, Arcadia City Precinct
No.7, Arcadia Oity Precinct No.8 and Arcadia City Precinct No.
9 shall be consolidated and designated a.s Arcadia Ci ty Consolid<::.ted
Precinct No.3 which said Arcadia City Consolidated Precinct No.
3 shall consist of and be coextensive with said Arcadia City Pre-
cincts Nos. 6, 7, $ and 9.
That the respective pol1ing places for the holding of
said General Municipal Election and the respective Officers of
said Election are hereoy designated and named as follows, to-wit:
ARCADIA CITY CONSOLIDATED PRECINCT NO.1.
POLLING PLACE: Council Chamber, in the City Hall, Ar-
cadia, California.

JUDGE: William C. Atkinson.

ARCADIA CITY CONSOLIDATED PP~CINCT NO.2.

Second Avenue, Arcadia, California.

That the compensation to be paid to each of said Offi-
cers of Election for all services by each of said Officers to be
rendered at said General Municipal Election shall be and the same
is hereby fixed at the sum of $6.00.

17 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this

21 I The fOl'egoing Resolution was adopted at a regular meet-
22 ing of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 5th.
