A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ESTABLISH SETBACK LINES ON A PORTION
OF HUNTINGTON DRIVE IN SAID CITY OF ARCADIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DO RESOLVE AS

FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the public interest and convenience
require and it is the intention of said City Council to establish
setback lines on a portion of Huntington Drive in said City of
Arcadia as follows:
A setback line on the Northerly side of Huntington
Drive from Second Avenue to the Easterly line of the right of way
of the Southern Pacific Company, distant fifty (50) feet North-
erly from and parallel to the center line of said Huntington Driv~;
A setback line on the Southerly side of said Huntington
Drive from Second Avenue to Santa Anita Avenue, distant fifty
(50) feet Southerly from and parallel to the center line of s&d
Huntington Drive.
SECTION 2: Notice is hereby given that Wednesda~ : the
16th. day of April, 1930, at eight o'clock P. M. of said day,
in the Council Chamber of said City Council of the City of Ar-
cadia, in the City Hall of said City, any and all persons having
any objections to said proposed setback lines may appear before
said City Council and show cause why said proposed setback lines
should not be established in accordance with this Resolution.
SECTION 3: The Superintendent of streets shall post or
cause to be posted conspicuously along said portion of Huntington
Drive along which it is proposed to fix and establish said set-
back lines, at not more than three hundred feet in distence apart,
Notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and shall cause the same to be published once in The
Arcadia News, a weekly newspaper published and circulated in said
Oi ty of Arcadia.

the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held on the 2nd.
April, 1930, by the affirmative vote of at least three
