RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
NO. 947
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
DECLARING IT'S INTENTION TO ES~.BLISH SET BACK LINES ON THE WEST-
ERLY SIDE OF HOI.LY AVENUE BETWEEN LONGDEN AVENUE AND WALNUT AVENUE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That an application has heretofore been filed

with the Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia, requesting a
change in the set back lines on a portion of Holly Avenue in said
City of Arcadia. That said Planning Commission has made recommend-
ation to the Ci~r Council of the City of Arcadia to establish set
back lines on a portion of Holly Avenue in accordance with said
applica tion.
SECTIOIJ 2. That the public interest and convenience require,

and it is the in1;ent1on of the City Council of the City of Arcadia to
establish, set bllck lines on a portion of Holly Avenue as follows:
A set baok line distant twenty (20') feet westerly
from acd parallel to the westerly line of Holly
Avenue,from Longden Avenue to Walnut Avenue.
SECTION 3. Notice is hereby given that on the 1st day of
November, 1938, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day,' in the Council
Chamb~r of said City Council, in the City Hall of said City of Arcadia,
any and all persons having any objections to said propoaed setbaok
lines, may appear before said City Council and show cause why said
proposed setback linea should not be established in accordance with
this Resolution.
SECTIONJ!. The Superintendent of Streets, shall post or
cause to be posted along such portion of Holly Avenue, along which
it is proposed to establish said setback linea, not more than three
hundred (300') feElt in distance apart, but not less than three in
all, notioes of tt.is Resolution of Intention.

SECT IOU. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once
in the Arcadia Tribune, a daily newspaper published and circulated
in said city of Arcadia, and hereby designated for that purpose.
1 hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Arcadia, held on the 18th day of October, 1938, by the affirmative
vote of at least three councilmen, to-wit:
