THE CITY COUllCIL OF THE CITY OF ARG1J)IA D02S RESOLVE AS
FOLLO',;S:
SECTION 1. That an application has heretofore been filed
with the PlanninG Commission of the City of Arcadia, requesting a
ohange in the set back lines on a portion of California street, and
on a portion of Diamond Street in said City of Arcadia; that said
Plannlne; Commission has made recommendation to the City Council of
the City of Aroadia to establish set back lines on a portion of
California Stroet and on a portion of Diamond Street, in accordance
with said a~plication.
SECT:~ON 2. That the public interest and convenience
requires. and it is the intention of the City Council of the City
of Arcadia to Elstablish set back lines on a portion of CaUfornia
Street and on a portion of Diamond Street as follows:
(a) j, set back line distant sixteen (16') feet
s:outherly from and parallel to the southerly
line of California Street, from Santa Anita
Avenue to First Avenue.
(b) A set back line distant sixteen (l6') feet
northerly from and parallel to the northerly
line of Diamond Street, from Santa Anita
Avenue to First Avenue.
SECTION 3. Notice is hereby

in the Council Chamber of said City GauncE, in the City Hall of
said City of Ar~adia, any and all persons having any objections to
said proposed set back lines, may aFpear Jefore s,id City Council
and show cause why said proposed set back lines should not be
established in accordance with this Resolution.

SECTION 4. The Superintendent of streets shall post
or oause to be posted along such portions of California Street
and Diamond Street, along which it is pro~osed to establish said
set back lines, not more than three hundred (3001) feet in distance
apart, but not less than three in all, notices of this Resolution
of Intention.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolation. and shall cause tho same to be published once
in the Arcadia Tribune, a daily newsp'per published and circulated
in said City of Arcadia, and hereby desiJnated for that purpose.
I hereby certify that the fore6oin~ Resolution was
adopted at a regular Moeting of the City Council of the City of

Arc~dia, held on the 15th day of November, 1938, by the affirmative
vote of at least three councilmen. to-wit:
