MATTER or THE PROPOSE)) UPRO\E~:2NT OF PLORAL AVENUE AND FOREST
~VENUE IN SAID CITY AND ?ROVIDING FOR TH: ISSUANCE AND MATURITY
OF AND THE RA'l'E OF INTEREST UPON BONDS TO BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT
unPAID ASSESSLEl\TS "OR SAID PROPOSED IMPRO':E?"ENTS.
THE CITY COUNCIL'OF THE CITY OF Ai'lCADIA DOEs RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the report prepared by the City Engineer
pursuant to ';tbe provisions of Section 3 of the "'Special assess-
ment investig~tion, limitation and majority protest act of 1931m
as amended, in the'matter of the proposed improvement of FLORAL
AVENUE AND FOF~ST AVENUE in the City of Arcadia, be and the same
is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. That serial bonds, bearinG interest at the
rate of 6 per cent per annum and extending over a period
ending nine years from the second day of January next succeeding
the next October fifteenth following their date, will be issued
in the manner provided by the "Improvement Act of 1911", approved
April 7,1911, as amended, to represent each assessment of twenty-
five dollars <C25.00) or more remaining unpaid for thirty days
after the date of the warrant attached to the assessment to be
hereafter levied under these prooeedings. '
SECTION 3. That the aaove mentioned report be filed with
the Clerk of this City Council, That Tuesday, the 1st. day of
August, 1939, at the hour of eight o'clock,P.M. and the Council
Chamber in the City Hall in the City of Arcadia, are hereby fixed
as the time ar..d place of hearing by this City Council on sa:M')
report. The Clerk of this City Council is hereby directed to ~ive
notice of said. hearing in the manner and form required by Section
6 of said "Special assessment investi~ation, limitation and
majority protest act of 1031" as amended.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resollltion.
I HE:tE:BY CERTIFY that the fore801ng resolut ion was adopted
at an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Arcadia on the 30th day of June,1939, by the affirmative vote
of at least three councilmen, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen Bolz, Griffitts, Leeper and Perkins
