A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
DECLARING ITS INTE1'T ION TO ESTABLISH A SET-BACK LINE ON THE WESTERLY
SIDE OF HOLLY AVENUE BET';JEEN LE!,'ION AVENUE AIm LOlIGDEN AVENUE IN SAID
CiTY OF ARCADIA.
Tlffi C.l.TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOVlS:
SECTION 1. That an application has heretofore been filed
with the Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia,requesttilg 'the
change in the set-back line on a portion of Holly Avenue in said
City of Arcadia; that said Plannin3 Commission has recommended to
the City Council that the set-back line be chaneed on a portion of
Holly Avenue.
SECTION 2. That the public interest and convenience re-
quires, and it is the intent l.on of the City Council to establish
a set-back line on a portion of Holly Avenue as follows:
A set-back line distant thirty (30') feet
from and parallel to the westerly line of Holly
Avenue from Lemon Avenue to Lonzden Avenue.
SECTIJN 3. Notice is hereby given that on the 15th-
day of AU(l;ust , 1939, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day, in the
Council Chamber of said City Council, in the City Hall of the
City of Arcadia, any and all persons having any objections to
said proposed :get-baclc lines, may appear Jefore said City Council
and show cause why said proposed set-back lines should 'not be
established in accordance with t~lis Resolution.
SECT!()N 4. The Superintendent of Streets shall post or
cause to be pOllted along such portions of Holly Avenue, vlherein
it is proposed to chanGe said set-back line, not more than three
hundred (3001) feet in d~stance apa~t, but not less than three
in all, notices of this Resolution of Intention.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once
in the Arcadia Tribune, and News, a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in said City o~ Arcadia.

of Arcadia, held on the 18th day of
