n. The development of a hotel on the Site will act as a catalyst
for future development and will lead toward the rapid and successful
implementation of the Arcadia Redevelopment Plan to eliminate blight in
the Project area.for the protection of the health, safety and welfare of
the City of Arcadia.
C. Currently there exists a less than adequate amount of banquet
facilities within the City. It is felt that the development of a hotel
will address this need without placing an additional burden upon the tax
payers for a like publicly-owned facility.

this resolution.
