RESOLUTION NO. 4240 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO DETERMINE WHETHER AN UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT SHOULD BE ESTABLISHED IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY THE CENTER LINES OF HUNTINGTON DRIVE, FIRST AVENUE, WHEELER A~~NUE AND THE SOUTHBOUND ROADWAY OF SANTA ANITA AVENUE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Notice is hereby given that Tuesday, the 7th of March, 1972, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. on said day, in the Council Chambers of said City Council in the City Hall, 240 West Huntington Drive, Arcadia, California, is the time and place set for a public hearing for the purpose of determining whether the public necessity, health, safety or welfare requires the removal of poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures within the hereinafter designated area of the City and the underground installation of wires and facilities for supplying electric, communication, or similar or associated service within said area. The City Clerk shall notify all affected property owners as shown on the last equalized assess- ment roll and utilities concerned by mail of the time and place of such hearing at least ten (10) days prior to March 7, 1972. All persons interested shall be given an opportunity to be heard at said hearing. Said area is described as follows: That portion of a part of Arcadia Santa Anita Tract, as shown on map recorded in Book 15, Pages 89 and 90 of Miscellaneous Records in the Office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County, bounded as follows: On the north by the center line of Wheeler Avenue (shown as Walnut Street on the map); on the east -1- 4240 . . by the center line of First Avenue; on the south by the center line of Huntington Drive (shown as Falling Leaf Avenue on said map) and on the west by a line that is parallel with and 25 feet west of the center line of Santa Anita Avenue. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia held on the 15th day of February, 1972, by the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Arth, Butterworth, Hage and Helms NOES: None ABSENT: Councilman Considine e~tr~tn~ ATTEST: ~ )CM/ City Clerk 1972.
