A RESOLUrION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
3 ACCEPTIIG QUIT CLAIM DEED EXECUTED BY SOUTHERN COUNTIES GAS COM-
PANY OF CALU'ORNIA, CONVEYIl~ AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC STREEII' PUR-

AS FOLLO'JS:

That that certain Quitclaim Deed dated December 9th,
1936, and executed by Southern Counties Gas Company of California,

conveying the following described property to the City of Arcadia,
That portion of Lot 1 of Tract No. 951, in the City of
Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per
map recorded in Book 17, Page 28 of Maps, in the Office of
the County Recorder of said County, described as follows:

PARCEL A. Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of the
land described in said deed to Arcadia City School District,
recorded in Book 6624, Page 68, Official Records of said
County; thenoe Easterly, aloDg the Southerly line thereof,
and its Easterly prolongation, 2157.86 feet, more or less,
to the Easterly line of said Lot 1; thence Southerly along
said Easterly line, 60 feet; thence Vlesterly parallel with
said Easterly prolongation and Sout herly line, 2157.86 feet,
more or less, to the 'Vlesterly line of said Lot 1; thence
Northerly, along said Westerly line, 60 feet to the point
of beginning.
PARCEL B. Beginning at the Southwesterly oorner of the
above described 60' strip of land; thence Easterly, along
the Southerly line thereof, 30'; thence Southerly, parallel
with the Westerly line of said Lot I, a distance of 571.20
feet; thence Westerly, parallel with the Southerly line of
said 60 foot str~p of land, 30' to said Westerly line of
Lot 1; thence Nort.herly, along said Westerly line, 571,20
feet to the poin t of beginning,
for public street purposes and for public utility purposes other

than the maintenance and operation of gas mains and pipes over
that certain real property in the City of Arcadia, be and the
same is hereby accepted.

The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Arcadia held on the 15th d~ of December, 1936, by the affirmative
