RESOLUTION NO. 855
A RESOD!TION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AR~ADIA
PERTAINIKG TO A BEAUTIFICATION COW,ITTEE FOR THE CITY OF ARCADIA.
TFlli CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, many persons, clubs and associations in the City of
Arcadia are interested in a beautification program for the City of
Arcadia; and
WHEREAS, the different persons, clubs and associations are
now worKjng separate and apart;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Arcadia
recommends that the persons, clubs and associations interested in
beautifyin[5 the City of Arcadia, form a committee;
It is further recommended that the committee so formed act
as a coordinati~ committee for the purpose of gathering the dif-
ferent ideas from the different persons, clubs and associations.
It is further recommended that the committee be so composed
and so work, that it will give the greatest number of persons an
opportunity to be heard.
It is further suggested, that from time to time the com-
mittee comm~nicate with the Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia.
It is to be understood that the committee will not have any
authority to obli~~te or bind the City of Arcadia in any manner what-
ever.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a re~ular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia held
on the 20th day of April, 1937, by the affirmative vote of at least
three councilmen, to-wit:
