RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 874
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ESTABLISH SETBACK LINES ON A PORTION Of
LA CADENA AVENUE AND PARTICULARLY LOT 10, TRACT 3430 AS PER MAP RE-
CORDED IN BOOK 42, PAGE 32 OF MAPS, RECORDS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
That an application has heretofore been filed
with the Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia requesting a
change in the setback lines on a portion of La Cadena Avenue in said
City of Arcadia. That said Planning Commission has made recommen-
dation to the City Council of the City of Arcadia to establish set-
back lines on a portion of La Cadena Avenue in accordance with said
application.
SEC~~ION 2:
That the public interest and convenience re-
quire and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of
Arcadia to establish setback lines on a portion of La Cadena Avenue
as follows:
A setback line a distance of 20 feet for the Northerly 70
feet of the Westerly 72.50 feet of Lot 10, Tract 3430 as per map
recorded in Book 42, .Page 32 of Mapa, Records of Los Angeles County.
SECTION 3: Notice is hereby given that on the 7th day of
September, 1937, at 8:00 o'clock P. M. of said day, in the Council
Chamber of said City Council, in the City Hall of said City of Arcadia,
any and all persons hllving any objections to said proposed setback
linea, may appear before said City Council and show cau~e why said
proposed setback lines should not be established in accordance with
this Resolution.
SECTION 4: The Superintendent of Streets, shall post or

cause to be posted along such portion of La Cadena Avenue and Fair
View Avenue along which it is proposed to establish said setback
lines, not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, but
not less than three in all, notices of this Resolution of Intention.

The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once in the
Arcadia. Tribune, a daily 0 newspaper published and circulated in said
City of Arcadia, and hereby designated for that purpose.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held
on the 3rd day of Augu~t, 1937, by the affirmative vote of at least
three councilmen, to-wit:
