RESOLUTION NO. 882.
A RESOITJTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ESTABLISH SET BACK LINES ON A PORTION
OF HUNTINGTON DRIVE AND PARTICULARLY LOTS, 4, 5 and 6 OF TRACT NO.
2828 AS PER 1~P BOOK 106, PAGE 53 OF MAPS, AND LOTS 1, 2, 3 and 4,
OF TRACT NO. 6985 AS PER MAP BOOK 33, PAGE 63 OF MAPS, RECORDS OF
LOS ANGELES COUNTY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOV/S :
SECTION 1: That an application has heretofore been filed
with the Planning Commission of the City of Arcadia requesting a
chanee in the set back lines on a portion of Huntington Drive in
said City of Arcadia. That said Planning Commission has made
recommendation to the City Council of the City of Arcadia to es-
tablish set back lines on a portion of Huntington Drive in
accordance with said application.
SECTION 2:
That the public interest and convenience
require and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of
Arcadia to establish set back lines on a portion of Huntington Drive
in said City of Arcadia as follows:
A set back line a distance of 35 feet from the property
line or street line of Lots No.4, 5 and 6 of Tract No. 2828 as per
map recorded in Book 106, Page 53 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles
County, and also, Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Tract No. 6985 as per map
recorded in Book 33, Page 63 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County.
SECTION 3:
Notice is hereby given that on the 5th day of
October, 1937, at the hour of eight' o'clock P. M. of said. day in the
Council Chamber of said City Council, in the City Hall of said City
of Arcadia, any and all persons having any objections to said pro-
posed set back lines, may appear before said City Council and show
cause why said proposed set back lines should not be established in
accordance with this Resolution.
SECTION 4:
The Superintendent of Streets shall post or

cause to be posted along such portion of Huntington Drive where it is
proposed to establish said set back lines, not more than three hundred
(300) feet in distance apart, but not less than three (3) in all,
notices of this Resolution of Intention.
SECTION 5:
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution and shall cause the same to be published once in
the Arcadia Tribune, a weekly newspaper published and circulated in
said City of Arcad.ia and. hereby designated for that purpose.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, held
on the 7th day of September, 1937, by the affirmative vote of at least
three councilmen, to-wit:

Councilmen, Griffitts, Hoffman, Hudson and McLean
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Corby
