HomeMy WebLinkAbout6194 RESOLUTION NO. 6194 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING INDUSTRIAL WASTE PERMIT AND OTHER RELATED SERVICE FEES THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Chapter 10 (Industrial Waste Control), of Article VII (Public Works) of the Arcadia Municipal Code provides for permit and service fees related to the City's industrial waste program to be established by resolution ofthe City Council. SECTION 2. The fees and charges relative to the City's industrial waste program shall be as evidenced within the attached "Exhibit A," which fees are hereby established and approved. SECTION 3. In taking this action, the City Council finds and determines, in accordance with the provisions of Section 54954.6 of the Government Code, that the service fees and charges being established do not exceed the actual cost of performing the regulatory services and activities for which they are being collected. SECTION 4. All other Resolutions concerning the regulations and fees established by this Resolution are hereby amended to the extent necessary to make the same conform herewith. 1 6194 SECTION 5. This Resolution shall be operative on the effective date of Ordinance No. 2129. SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. Wastewater Sampling and Analysis Fee The Director may charge the discharger a fee of $186.00 for each analysis performed by or on behalf of the Director on wastewater samples taken from the discharger. Fees not paid within 30 calendar days from the billing date shall be considered delinquent. Delinquent fees shall be subject to a lO-percent penalty fee for each 30- day period beyond the billing date that the fee is due. Permits for which the inspection fee is delinquent for 90 days or more are subject to suspension.
