HomeMy WebLinkAbout4116 RESOLUTION NO. ~ ~//6 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA REQUESTING AID TO CITIES GASOLINE TAX FUNDS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF LIVE OAK AVENUE FROM THIRD AVENUE TO THE EAST CITY LIMITS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arcadia deems it necessary that Live Oak Avenue from Third Avenue to the easterly City boundary of Arcadia be improved by reconstructing the pavement and constructing a median divider; and WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has available for use by the City of Arcadia Aid to Cities gasoline tax funds for the improvement of such streets. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles is hereby requesting to appropriate from said Aid to Cities gasoline tax funds the sum of $25,000.00 for the reconstruc- tion of the pavement and construction of a median strip in Live Oak Avenue from Third Avenue to the easterly City boundary. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
