A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ARCADIA ORDERING THE
VACATION OF A PORTION OF WISTARIA .
AVENUE BETWEEN BELLA VISTA DRIVE AND
HOLLY AVENUE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA DOES HEREBY
DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to Resolution No. 5023 declaring
the intention of the City Council to vacate a portion of Wistaria
Avenue located between Bella Vista Drive and Holly Avenue in the
City of. Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of California, more
particularly described as follows:
That portion of Wistaria Avenue lying within the
easterly 40 feet of the westerly 70.40 feet of
the southerly 60 feet of Lot 65, Tract No. 4869
as shown on map recorded in Book 52, Page 13 of
maps in the office of the Recorder of Los Angeles
County,
a public hearing was duly held on April 7, 1970, at the hour of
8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Arcadia City Hall, 240 West
Huntington Drive, Arcadia, California, for the purpose of hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation of
the above described portion of said avenue. At said publiC hearing
the City Council accepted and received all testimony offered in
support of or in objection to said proposed vacation.
SECTION 2. That the City Council finds from all the
evidence submitted that that portion of the avenue hereinabove
described, and so described in the resolution of intention to
vacate said avenue, is unnecessary for present or prospective
street purposes, except a permanent easement to maintain, replace,

remove, and renew lines of pipe, conduits, equipment, and fixtures
for the operation of pipe lines, and therefore it is ordered that
the above described portion of said avenue be vacated, excepting
and reserving said easements.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall cause a certified copy thereof to be
recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia held
on the
7th

of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
